The conventional QUASAR overspeed governor passes UCM certification tests
Dear Customers,
We are pleased to inform you that our compact, high-performance overspeed governor now has an additional feature, with Dynatech expecting to receive the corresponding certificates in October. We will then be able to supply this overspeed governor for use in conjunction with our ASG family safety gear and the SIL2 UCM SD-BOX electronic control system.
We would like to remind you that certified UCM units allow the lift installation to be legally approved and put into operation without requiring any additional on-site inspection or testing by the Notified Body. Submission of the corresponding UCM unit certificate is sufficient to show compliance.
