The ULTRACOMPACT 126 tensing pulley is designed to provide the required tension for the rope that runs through the groove of the QUASAR overspeed governor.
The tensioner uses springs instead of weights to apply tension to the rope, similarly to the Compact tensioners. The difference is that the size of the original Compact 126 product has been reduced to a minimum.
For lift installations where space is at a premium, the ULTRACOMPACT 126 tensioner is ideal for integration into reduced, narrow pits. However, it can be used for any type of lift, with a reduced pit or not, since its performance is identical to the COMPACT 126 tensioner.
Main features of the ULTRACOMPACT 126 tensing pulley:
- Pulley diameter: 120 mm
- Can be used with 6/6.5 mm rope. The product’s instructions for use and maintenance specify the approved rope types and their manufacturers.
- This product is supplied pre-assembled from the factory, ready to be installed.
- There are both two-way and only down versions.
It is supplied as standard with:
- Rope slackening contact.
- Rope tensioner: helps in rope pre-tensing before releasing the springs, integrated in the Ultracompact, which provide the final, correct tension in the overspeed governor rope.
- Circumferential rope anti-release system: As well as providing complete rope anti-release protection, its greatest advantage is the help it provides when fitting the rope around the tensing pulley; saving installers a lot of time during the assembly and installation process.
